What is Chelation Therapy?
Chelation therapy is an FDA-approved treatment for the removal of toxic levels of metals from the body.
Chelation medicines, usually EDTA or DMSA work by seeking out the metals in your body, grabbing on to them and ferrying them out of your body safely through the urine. Each treatment removes a small quantity of these metals.
Eventually, after several treatment cycles, most or all of the damaging metals such as mercury or lead are removed improving the patient's health.
Heavy Metal Chelation
We are usually concerned with mercury or lead, but metals such as cadmium, arsenic, aluminum, and even iron can be harmful if present at high levels. We use state of the art methods to diagnose metal toxicity, and we use the safest possible methods to remove them.
We offer convenient and affordable Intravenous EDTA treatments combined with intravenous vitamin and mineral therapy as well as prescribed oral medications such as DMSA.
With either method we use nutritional supplements to enhance elimination of the toxic metals and prevent complications.
IV Chelation Clinic
Our IV center is private, pleasant and quiet with leather recliners and soothing music. Dr. Kaye supervises all treatments. Infused medications are obtained from PCAB certified specialty pharmacies with expertise in the sterile formulation of IV medication.
Metal toxicity is epidemic and is a contributing factor to autoimmune disease, chronic fatigue, congestive heart failure, dementia, mood disorders, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease. There is no safe level of these toxic metals in the human body.
The sources of these metals are dental amalgams, air pollution from coal power plants, contaminated seafood such as tuna and swordfish, lead paint and unleaded gasoline, contaminated water, smoking, and chemical exposure.
Dr. Kaye suffered from mercury poisoning from dental amalgams for years until he had them safely removed and underwent successful IV and oral chelation. He can personally testify to the power of the therapy to improve memory, mood, hormonal health, and general well being. Several studies in the medical literature have reported dramatic improvement in cardiovascular disease and poor circulation after intravenous chelation therapy.
